Layers

Program spaces and materials are layered around each other in the overall design. Beginning with the central core, and surrounding it with a layer of storage followed by the program space to make up the interior spaces of the house. These layers are contained by the exterior screen defining the overall mass, which is then surrounded by decks providing accessible entry into the home and to the exterior living spaces.

Sustainable Components

An exploded axon of how enCore utilized a variety of sustainable components including solar panels, sloped roofs for water collection, perforated screens, a condensed mechanical and plumbing core, a water collection living machine, a super insulated construction, triple pane windows, a vegetable garden, and a trombe wall.
